To benefit from the legal rights provided by Law 120/2015 on stimulating individual investors, a business angel must invest between 3,000 – 200,000 euros for 3 years in a company.
Obviously, business angels can get higher investments than these limits, but for the amounts exceeding the investor they will no longer benefit from the tax incentives in the normative act.
How to attract a business angel?
- Propose a clear business plan that will show the company’s growth potential in the market; assets and liabilities existing in the firm; team experience etc
- Increase confidence in the founding shareholder, real competence in the respective industry
- Prove a competitive advantage
- Introduce an attractive exit strategy
Be aware that business angels might be different in each industry. If you need more information, we will be happy to discuss the business plans with you.
